Tired But Happy

papertigers is enjoying her day off with scooterbird. This means (on the plus side) a quiet evening with the cats for me, and chores done FIRST thing instead of after I ate.

I am all tired out, but it's a mildly stormy night, and really nice to be indoors and sleepy and cuddling kittens. Miles is really the cutest thing. He just loves to be near me, and purrs and purrs.

Vince started chemo today. His second biopsy came back clear, so it's pretty certain that the cancer has not spread - which means he will be tremendously uncomfortable for a while, but he also has a very, very good chance of recovery. Thanks to all of you who have been praying for him, and for my family. He's a little cutie and we really can't spare him. (Although at 21, I'm sure he'd be rolling his eyes at that description of him.)

I can't say why I feel so warm and contented, but I'm going to sit here and enjoy it for a while. Bedtime comes soon.
